Warehouse Assistant

Coveted Cover is currently seeking an enthusiastic, hard-working, and book-loving candidate for our Warehouse Assistant role.

This person will work both independently and alongside the business owners to pick, pack, and fulfill online orders and assist with other warehouse duties such as organizing inventory and supplies, managing backstock, inspecting new inventory for quality control, creating and printing shipping labels, and assisting courier companies with loading/unloading of boxes and packages.

Qualifications include:

  • Must live within Whatcom county in Washington state. This is not a remote position.
  • Must work well both independently and with others
  • Have a positive, can-do attitude
  • Able to stand on concrete for long periods of time and lift boxes up to 38 lbs
  • Have full range of motion and the ability to lift large boxes above head
  • Must feel comfortable using a step ladder to reach tall shelves
  • Reliable transportation
  • Some scheduling flexibility
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Additional Information:

Scheduling: The hours for this position will vary by week between 20 and 30 hours, but we have some flexibility in working around candidate’s schedule. There may be an opportunity for the candidate to gain additional hours from time to time, upon their interest. At a minimum, the candidate must be able to work at least three days a week and within our regular business hours of 9am to 5pm.

COMPENSATION:

This is an hourly position earning $17.13 per hour.
