We invite you to grab a cup of your favorite comfort beverage (that’s tea for me, Pepsi for Jess) and take a journey with us through our website, learning more about the two of us and what Coveted Cover is all about.

We’re passionate about reading, we’re passionate about collecting books, and we’re passionate about collecting beautiful limited editions of our favorite books.

So much so that we both have multiples of different editions of the same books in our respective collections! And while there are plenty of companies creating special editions of great books, we found they either had insanely long waitlists, or we didn’t personally love the designs of those books, or we didn’t love the books they were curating. We knew we couldn’t be the only ones out there feeling this way, so we started brainstorming and dreaming up possibilities… And before we knew it, Coveted Cover went from a “what-if,” to a “we’re all in; let’s do this!”

We’re self-acclaimed shelfie snobs.

We understand that a beautiful book can be more than a literary work of art—it’s also visual art you display on your bookshelves. Our Coveted Cover books will always be illustrated and designed by artists at the top of their game, with covers boasting luxe elements such as foiling or debossing, and digitally printed edges. We’re talking swoon-worthy masterpieces you’ll be proud to add to your book collection.

 

We’ve both owned and run successful businesses.

We also each have experience in the publishing industry, though in different ways. In Stacie’s earlier professional career she worked as an editor and writer in the magazine industry before moving on to video games, where she worked as writer, editor, and manager on various popular MMO game titles. Jess runs a booktube review site with her life-long bestie, through which she’s had the ability to meet and become friends with a number of well-known indie authors. She’s also a Beta and Arc reader for some of those very same authors. 

Though we both share a love of reading, we actually prefer different genres!

Stacie has a love of all things fantasy—high fantasy, urban fantasy, paranormal romance, and romantasy. She also adores books with dystopian themes, and what she jokingly refers to as “sci-fi lite.”
Jess loves the dark and taboo romance. She avoids extremely hyped books, preferring to find the hidden gems and previously unknown indie authors. She’s strictly a romance girl; she needs the happily ever after!

We’re excited to have you along with us on this journey, and we hope to help you discover some of your favorite new books that you might not have found otherwise!
