Shipping Updates

As of 01/14/26: At last we have good news to share! Our books were released from jail (aka customs) finally! They were upgraded to air shipping and made it to the US port safe and sound and then breezed through customs! Hooray! We are awaiting notice that they’ve been transferred to our courier company to start their journey to our warehouse. Once we get that, we’ll have a firmer idea on when we’ll be able to start shipping them to subscribers, but our best guess for now is that we’ll get them early next week, need a few days to inspect them, and then will begin packing up orders mid-week. We appreciate how patient and understanding everyone has been with these!

As of 01/05/26: We finally heard from customs and are resubmitting our declaration papers for our books. Assuming there are no more issues, they estimate that our books may be released by the end of the week. These have been upgraded to air shipping, so once they release, they should get to the US port within a week. We’ll continue to update here and to our subscribers via email when we finally have movement and a firmer estimated ship date for you. 

As of 12/30/25: We check in with our shipping forwarder every couple of days on our books, and so far, we receive only the frustrating news that customs in China is working through record amounts of shipments to inspect and there’s nothing we can do but wait for now. We will continue checking and will update subscribers here and via email as soon as we have better news. 

As of 12/09/25: We upgraded shipping to the costly air option, after being told that the next vessels going out of China were fully booked and our books wouldn’t get on a vessel departing port until mid- to late-December. Our air shipment was supposed to depart for the US on the 5th. Unfortunately, we just learned that due to a recent policy change in China, about 60% of all outbound shipments are being pulled for inspections, and ours was apparently one of the unlucky ones. We are now in a holding pattern while we wait for them to unpack and inspect our order. It’s been over a full week now since we’ve heard anything, so we’re hopeful we’re at the tail end of this and our books will be put on an outbound plane soon! Once that happens and they arrive at the LA port, they’ll go through US customs. We have heard from our shipping partners that the port and customs are a bit backed up. With all of this in mind, our best guesstimate at this time for shipping these out to subscribers is the end of December. 

As of 11/14/25: All boxes have been picked up by USPS and are on their way to subscribers!

As of 11/03/25: These have arrived at our warehouse and currently being inspected for damage. Expected to begin shipping by early next week.

As of 10/22/25: On the boat and expecting it to arrive in port next week or the week after. Will then head into customers before being loaded on the truck and delivered to our warehouse. We have updated our estimate and now expect to ship these to customers the last few days of October or into early November.

As of 8/01/25: Book is in production at the printers. We changed printers mid-production to ensure higher quality, which pushed our shipping timeline back a few weeks. Though still “on-time” for our September – October box, we had expected to ship these to customers late September originally, and now expect them mid-October.

As of 8/15/25: As of today, all books have shipped out to Nocturna subscribers. Time to watch your mailboxes!

As of 8/11/25: Books have arrived and are being inspected! Shipping labels will be printed on Tuesday the 12th, and boxes will begin shipping to customers mid-week.

As of 8/06/25: Books have been released from customs and are on the truck heading to our warehouse with an expected arrival date of Friday! We’ll begin inspecting the books Monday and expect to print labels and start shipping to customers next week.

As of 6/11/25: Books are with the printer and in production.

As of 5/09/25 – All boxes have shipped to subscribers!

As of 3/4/25 – All boxes have shipped to subscribers!

As of 2/10/25: All boxes have shipped to subscribers.

As of 12/30/25 – These books are the February – March 2025 box. We are currently estimating these will ship to subscribers in mid or late March.

As of 12/11/25 – These have all shipped to subscribers!

As of 11/14/25 – These have arrived at our warehouse! We’ll begin inspecting the books and preparing them for shipping early next week!

As of 11/03/25 – During Quality Control, found an issue with the foil on the black fabric for the hardcase that created small tears in the fabric. Required reprints using a replacement material, which set us back a couple weeks. These are now wrapping up production and we will be upgrading to air shipping in the hopes that we can still get these out to subscribers by the end of November.

As of 10/09/25 – Still in production with the printer. Awaiting Quality Control videos before packing and shipment preparation begins. Anticipate shipping these to customers mid-November.

As of 9/16/25 – These books are the October – November box. These are with the printer and in production. Expecting to start shipping these to customers early to mid-November.

As of 10/07/25 – All boxes have shipped to subscribers!

As of 6/25/25 – All books have shipped to subscribers!

As of 12/30/25 – These were delayed but production is now wrapping up. Expecting these to ship to customers in March 2026.

As of 11/05/25 – With the printer and beginning production.

As of 10/22/25 – Pushed back deadline for subscribers to fill out their questionnaire and send in their photos. We are now tallying the responses and will be placing our order with the new printer soon!

As of 9/23/25 – Email with reprint questionnaire link sent to Aetheria subscribers. If you qualify for a reprint and did not receive this email, please email us at info@covetedcover.com.

As of 8/19/25 – Samples arrived. Evaluating and making some final decisions on the reprint. Will be sending out an email survey to impacted subscribers soon.

As of 8/06/25 – Working with new printer on reprints and awaiting final sample to arrive to test new dust jacket material. An email update will be sent to subscribers soon.

As of 6/30/25 – In discussions with the printer regarding reprints since the bulk of this order arrived damaged. Subscribers will receive email updates as we have more information.

As of 8/19/25 – All copies of the initial print run have been shipped to subscribers. For information regarding the status of the REPRINTS for this book, please scroll up and find the section titled “Aetheria Box 2 (April/May) REPRINT | House of Bane and Blood REPRINT.”

As of 3/10/25: All boxes have shipped to subscribers!

As of 12/30/25: Currently in production. We are estimating these will ship to customers at the end of March.

As of 8/15/25: All boxes have shipped.

As of 11/07/25: All boxes have been picked up by USPS and are on their way to subscribers!

As of 11/03/25: These have arrived at our warehouse and are currently being inspected for damage. We will then prepare them for shipping. We expect these to begin shipping to customers by the end of the week or early next week.

As of 10/22/25: Due to longer production requirements for the glow-in-the-dark inks that we were unaware of, these shipped later than expected. They are currently on the boat making their way to the US port, where they will then go through customs. We hope this will be a quick process and that we’ll get these at our warehouse in time to ship them out before the month ends. That said, your packages are shipped via Media Mail to keep your shipping costs affordable, but this is the slowest shipping method offered by USPS. As such, we think it likely that customers will receive these in the first half of November.

As of 9/16/25: Book is in production and on-schedule. We are still estimating this to ship to customers in October.

As of 8/12/25: Preorders closed. Book is in production. Expected to ship to customers in October.

As of 8/04/25:Preorders are open. Book is preparing for production. Expected to ship to customers in October.

As of 9/26/25: All boxes have shipped to those who ordered them! We do have leftovers, which we’ll offer at a future Overstock sale on the website.
